Mitchell L. Mullen graduated Boston University Magna Cum Laude with B.S.B.A inJanuary, 1982. He earned his juris doctorate in May, 1985 from Rutgers University.
Mr. Mullen began practicing primarily in criminal defense from August, 1985 to January, 1987, where he then started as an associate attorney at Worth, Garber & Kasten. The emphasis of his practice was in family law, criminal law, and landlord-tenant work. In 1993, Mr. Mullen became a partner in the firm then known as Garber, Kasten, Jarve & Mullen, P.A. He continued to practice at that firm with emphasis on family law. He is currently a certified matrimonial lawyer (April 1998) and was charged with the handling or supervision of most of the the family law practice. He recently receive formal training as a divorce mediator. In 2002 he forged his own law firm and took on Brian Reagan as his partner in October 2003.
Mr. Mullen has vast courtroom experience in all but a handful of counties throughout the state. He has handled multi-faceted divorce actions, contested custody matters, contested adoptions, domestic violence trials, and juvenile adjudications and motions in all aspects of family law. He is competent in support guideline analysis and accompanying computer software. Approximately 75% of his current practice is devoted to family law matters. Mr. Mullen attends continuing education seminars of at least 25 hours per year. He volunteers as a matrimonial early settlement panelist in both Camden and Burlington Counties. He is a member of the Camden County Bar Association, Burlington County Bar Association, New Jersey State Bar Association, Philadelphia Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
Mr. Mullen is married and has three boys. He enjoys tennis, biking, skiing, coaching, and attending New York Jet football games in his spare time.
